WELLINGTON SQUARE

Public BBQ

Wellington Square sits next to the Port Lincoln Bowls Club and offers a rare feature for families: full perimeter fencing around the entire park grounds, not just the playground area. The green lawns are well maintained, though the grassed area slopes slightly. Several BBQs are positioned under covered shelters with seating, and mature trees provide additional shade throughout the park. The playground keeps kids entertained, with ample space for them to run around safely within the fenced boundaries. Bike paths wind through the grounds, and facilities include toilets and drinking water taps. Parking is plentiful and free. The fencing makes this spot particularly appealing for parents who want to relax at the barbecue facilities while children play without constant supervision.
